Blueberry Tea Cake (dessert)


Ingredients

1/3 cup shortening (half butter)

2 cups flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup sugar

3/4 cup milk

1 egg

1 cup blueberries


Cooking Instructions

Stir shortening to soften. Add flour sifted with baking powder, salt, sugar, and milk. Beat vigorously (2 min). Add the egg and beat 1 min. Stir in the blueberries. Pour into a greased 8x8x2" pan. Bake 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Enjoy!
